Bec and Astrid launched Freeroamchicks with the dream of travelling the world in their 4x4 and sharing their adventures on social media. Along the way, they realised they wanted their journey to have a deeper purpose. Combining their love for travel with their photo and video skills, they set out to create campaigns that support not-for-profits and grassroots organisations through impactful storytelling. That’s where we came in to help them build a brand that reflected their adventurous spirit and gave them the credibility they needed to attract sponsors and collaborators for their projects.
The Freeroamchicks identity is a true reflection of Bec and Astrid: outgoing, warm, friendly, a little cheeky, and full of purpose. We developed a brand system that captured their personality while staying versatile for their on-the-road lifestyle. This included a set of graphics and branded collateral tailored to their journey: stickers to leave with fellow nomads, and apparel like t-shirts and caps for them to wear while shooting content on location.
